Gaming
Finding a good gaming desk is difficult, especially if you need more space or care about detailed things like good cable management. That gets even trickier if you want an l shaped gaming desk, as they’re much more difficult to come across.
I spent hours browsing through Amazon to find the best l shaped gaming desks so you don’t have to. I’ve made sure to include symmetrical desks, unsymmetrical ones, colorful ones, desks with and without storage space, etc.
NOTE: Prices were correct at the time of writing of this article, they may have subsequently changed. We are not responsible for any incorrect information.
To cut to the chase, I’ve included an l shaped gaming desk for every budget and preference, all you have to do is choose the right one for your needs. Here are a couple of shortcut links to a few of my favorites:
This is the top search result on Amazon, and for good reason. It’s the perfect mix between price and features. At a starting price of $109 for the smallest size, it’s not overpriced, but it isn’t the most advanced bit of kit either.
The smallest 51-inch version is symmetrical, so you can choose to sit on either side depending on your preference. As a drawback, it’s not particularly friendly for triple monitors and widescreen gaming, but it offers plenty of other goodies to make up for it.
For starters, it’s offered in eight different color combinations:
It comes in three different sizes: 51 inches, 58 inches, and 66 inches. Height wise, it’s non-adjustable, standing at 30.4 inches.
It comes with a single monitor shelf, but as it isn’t fixed to the desk itself, you can move it around as you please. Most people use it as a showcase piece for storing art and figurines rather than a monitor, but that’s entirely up to you. It’s also got an iron hook for your headphones.
Putting it all together is rather easy and takes 30 minutes. All of the necessary tools are included as well. If you’re willing to pay to have it expertly assembled, you won’t have to bother with installing it yourself. It also comes with a 3-year warranty which is more than adequate.
The X-shaped frame makes it aesthetically pleasing too. It’s a great bang-for-buck proposition, but you’ll have to shell out $139 for the 66-inch version. On the plus side, the 51-inch version is one of the more compact corner gaming desk on this list, so it will fit almost everywhere.

This is a great l shaped gaming desk in my opinion, because its unsymmetrical shape means you get a ton of space on one side and a little side desk on the other. This l shaped gaming desk is similar to the 58-inch version of the previous desk, but it’s $20 cheaper.
You can buy it in five distinct color combinations:
Like the previous l shaped gaming desk, if you’re willing to spend a few hundred dollars on top, it will come expertly assembled for you. It even has a small drawer that you can keep some keys or papers in.
There’s not much else to add about it really. At $99 it’s excellent value for money, especially given how spacious it is.

Perhaps it’s not an l shaped gaming desk in the true sense of the word, but it’s a corner gaming desk with a central seating position. With this desk, you don’t have to choose which side you want to sit on, because you’ve only got a single option.
It’s great for a triple screen setup, making it ideal for racing sims or streamers who want this type of setup. Mind you, it doesn’t have a lot of work area because the desk workspace itself isn’t wide. The monitor stands take up 1/3 of the space, so apart from a keyboard and a mouse, there isn’t room for much else.
It’s only offered in two colors:
Expert assembly costs an extra $263 (at time of writing), but installation should be simple because they provide all the necessary tools along with the corner gaming desk when they ship it out to you. It also comes with an 18-month warranty period.

If you want an l shaped gaming desk with storage, this is your safest bet. Priced at $139, it isn’t what you’d call the cheapest of desks out there, but it is one of the more practical ones.
There is a downside though, and that’s the fact that it’s only offered in one size: 51 inches. It’s more compact than any of the other gaming corner desks on this list, especially when you consider the fact that the drawers take up a lot of the available legroom.
Still, it’s spacious enough, and you get the added benefit of having two quite significant drawers at your disposal. If you don’t mind sitting in the middle this is a great l shaped gaming desk. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with a monitor stand though.
It’s offered in just two colors:
The maximum load capacity is 450 pounds, which is a lot. It even comes with adjustable pegs so you can place it level on an uneven surface. For some reason, the white version is $10 cheaper than the black one. It’s got a 2-year warranty though, so that’s a plus.

If you’re after a corner gaming desk with a separate keyboard stand, this is perfect for you. It’s the only l shaped gaming desk on this list that doesn’t force you to have the keyboard on the same surface area as the mouse and the monitors, and if that’s your preference, then look no further.
It’s also very reasonably priced too, coming in at just $95. Having it expertly assembled will cost you dearly though. Exactly $263 more dearly to be precise. If you’re even a little capable of doing basic DIY stuff though, you’ll have no issues assembling this relatively basic corner gaming desk in less than an hour.
It’s only offered in one color, and that’s plain black. It has a maximum weight capacity of 110 pounds, which isn’t as high as some other desks on this list, but it shouldn’t be an issue so long as you don’t get up and stand on it in a fit of rage during a gaming session.

If you’re not a fan of desks with a fixed height, this adjustable one should suit you perfectly. You can adjust and vary the height between 29.9” and 48.4”, making it ideal for both short and tall people.
The workspace is very generous too, measuring in at 61”x43.7”. It has a dual motor system to power those two bulky stands. Mind you, everything I just mentioned does come at a premium, because this l shaped gaming desk is currently on offer for $429, and that’s before you include the $263 expert assembly option (should you choose to add it).
It’s only offered in one color, and that’s black, but the top surface area has a carbon-fiber-like finish to it, so it looks cool and interesting. It’s a pleasing desk to look at too, free of any clutter or strut supports. You don’t get any storage space, but that’s a small price to pay for such an elegant corner gaming desk.
It has a decent weight capacity of 330 lbs. The warranty is three years too, which matches that of the first corner gaming desk on this list.

I know some might call it a gimmick, but I like the idea of having LED lights in a gaming desk. After all, why shouldn’t your desk glow up in RGB at night? Most gaming keyboards and headphones use RGB lighting nowadays, and having a gaming desk that does the same is just the next evolutionary step.
The desk itself doesn’t have any integrated lights, but it comes with an RGB LED light strip and 3M tape. It has 7 main colors and 20 dynamic modes, creating the perfect atmosphere for gaming.
It’s got an integrated monitor stand which is wider and more stable than the portable ones, but as a drawback, you’re pretty much stuck with using it on that side of the desk.
It comes in several different colors:
It isn’t the sturdiest l shaped gaming desk though, as it can only support 100 lbs. (or thereabouts). The round exterior corner means you don’t have to worry about scratching or damaging walls though, which is always a massive bonus.
At $200, it isn’t cheap but it isn’t expensive either. I’d say that the desk itself is average, but the addition of the RGB LEDs and the fixed monitor stand justify the price.

CONS:
It's available on Amazon, and you can find this corner gaming desk here.
This is a large 66-inch l shaped gaming desk that only comes in a single size option. It isn’t fancy and it isn’t adjustable at all, but it’s a great desk if you want an enormous workspace. At $159 it’s reasonably affordable too, especially given its size.
It has a PC case stand and a small shelf above it that you can use to store books or some gaming paraphernalia. You can have it expertly assembled too, provided you’re willing to pay the premium of course.
It’s available in three different colors:
This corner gaming desk comes with adjustable leveling studs designed to keep it even on a less-than-ideal surface. The back corner is cut off to enable better cable management and a tighter gap to the walls.

CONS:
This giant corner gaming desk can be found on Amazon.
This is an unconventional desk because it isn’t L-shaped as much as it is U-shaped. It can technically go in a corner, but this desk is predominantly designed for people who want a central seating position. As such, it’s excellent for triple monitors and a widescreen setup.
It comes with four removable bookshelves which means you can have two shelves and a spacious PC case stand. If you can get past the somewhat unconventional looks, this is a great desk as it puts you in the center of attention. People used to normal desks might not like it, but it’s a desk that takes some getting used to let’s just put it that way.
It comes in just two colors:
At $209 it isn’t the cheapest l shaped gaming desk on our list, but it’s definitely one of the more interesting ones. I know it probably won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but those who are into these sorts of desks will absolutely love it.

If you want a cheap l shaped gaming desk, this is it. It’s the cheapest one I could find, and as far as I can tell, there’s nothing wrong with it. It isn’t as fancy or exotic as the other desks on this list, but it gets the job done effectively.
It’s currently listed for just $64, making it an absolute steal if you’re strapped for cash but still want a corner desk. It’s available in four different colors:
There’s not much more to say about it really. If you want a good corner gaming desk without spending a ton of money, order this one and don’t look back. If it was my money though, I’d spend a few extra dollars and get something a bit nicer.
The way I look at it is this: you buy a gaming desk once every couple of years, so why not make it worthwhile? You’ll be stuck using it for hours on end each day, so make sure it’s something you enjoy and like.

If you’re an absolute desk fanatic or just have a lot of money to spend, I urge you to buy this desk. For starters, it’s the largest desk on this list at 67”x59”. It’s also height-adjustable, ranging from 27 inches to 45 inches.
It has triple electric motors in each of its stand legs, giving it a maximum weight capacity of 265 lbs. It has a digital display controller which can toggle between inches and centimeters and has a memory slot for 3 different positions you can save and preset.
It even comes with a power charging station. It has two 110V outlets and two USB ports, so you can plug your laptop, tablet, or any other device directly into the desk. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that the edges of the desk have been sanded off and are smooth as silk.
It comes in one color only, which is oak, but that’s fine by me because it really matches the desk’s character. This is, without a doubt, the best l shaped gaming desk on this list, it’s just a matter of whether you can justify spending $899 on a desk or not.
